Modular Construction
The MetaSpace™ is designed as individual components that are easily assembled into the desired amount of space and configuration.
Components include raised flooring, wall panels, roof trusses and panels, electrical fixtures, bathroom fixtures and heating/air conditioning units.
Rapid Deployment and Assembly
All of the components for a standard configuration such as a 32’ x 104’ facility (housing approx 50 beds with toilets and showers) or a 300 bed acute care facility, can be fabricated and packaged for rapid deployment.
Stored in sea going containers or 53’ over-the-road trailers, MetaSpace™ package can be immediately transported to an area of need.
Assembly is easily and rapidly completed with manpower, handtools and step ladders. No fork trucks or heavy equipment is required. A 300 bed facility can be assembled in just 48-72 hours.
Adaptive
The MetaSpace™ adapts to a variety of situations and settings both rural and urban. The raised platform foundation can be adjusted and leveled with ease to accommodate variable terrain including: sand, gravel, curbs, shrubbery, sidewalks, driveways and low standing waters. It can be used as a single large platform or divided into smaller foundations for multiple facilities. |
Structures can be connected to municipal water and electrical supplies or to portable sources. The basic structures can accommodate a variety of interior furnishings and equipment to satisfy a broad range of short and long-term uses.
Negative Airflow Capability
Directional HEPA-filtered airflow creates the equivalent of a negative pressure isolation facility, producing safe environment for housing cohort patients in a ward-type setting.
Withstands the Elements
MetaSpace™ is self-contained and climate-controlled with heating and air conditioning units. It is rated to withstand storms and winds up to 80 mph.
Durable and Reusable
Designed as a semi-permanent structure, MetaSpace™ components are manufactured with high-quality, durable materials such as aircraft grade aluminum, galvanized steel and fiberglass. Components can be disassembled, stored for reuse and/or reassembled in a new configuration.
